--------------------------------------
Canadian Town Names v1.6 [1 June 2013]
--------------------------------------

Introduction
------------
This is a set of Canadian Town Names, Coast to Coast and includes 4
regional/provincial subsets as well as Malamute Madness.

It complements the Canadian Trains and Railways, Canadian Stations and
Canadian City Buildings sets, as well as Canadian Roads set, although they are
not required.

Compatible Platforms
--------------------
The set is compatible with TTDPatch 2.6 alpha [r2324+] and OpenTTD v1.2.3+. It
is not supported by TTDPatch 2.5 beta series and any earlier versions of
OpenTTD. It is available for Windows; a DOS version for TTDPatch for DOS is
available on request.

CANames v1.6 is not compatible with save games where Canadian graphic files
other than v1.6 or higher have been in use. It is for new games only unless
all other Canadian graphic files are of a version 1.6 or higher too.

Installation and Configuration
------------------------------
OpenTTD : add CaNames.grf to the '\data' directory (or '\newgrf' directory in
more recent versions of OpenTTD) and activate the set in 'NewGRF Settings' on
the title screen.

Note : You may find the \data (or \newgrf) directory in one of the following
locations :

C:\My Documents\data (Windows 95, 98, ME)
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\OpenTTD\data (Windows 2000, XP)
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\OpenTTD\data (Windows Vista, 7)
~/.openttd/data (Linux, BSD)
~/Documents/OpenTTD/data (OSX)[/text]

TTDPatch : add CaNames.grf to the \NEWGRF directory and add the entry
'newgrf\CaNames.grf' to the newgrf.cfg file, found in the game directory.

This set does not require any particular position in newgrf[w].cfg (TTDPatch)
or NewGRF settings window (OpenTTD), anywhere will do.

The set must be active/activated on the title screen and must remain active
during the game, although no selection changes are possible once a game has
started; and it only works with new games.

Parameter Settings
==================
** There are no parameters to worry about **

How to Activate / Use Custom Town Names
---------------------------------------
Before starting a new game; on the title screen select 'Game Options'; on the
game options window open the 'Town Names' drop down menu and select one of the
many town name sets listed. Then exit the Game Options window an start a new
game. Please note custom town names work only with new games; it has no effect
on saved games or playing a scenario; although a scenario designer can use
them while creating a scenario; however, s/he must make it clear that playing
the scenario requires the set to be activated.

In TTDPatch :
Canadian Town Names follow the 'Canadian ...' entry; with 'Canadian ...' and
'O Canada' being the same.

In OpenTTD :
Canadian Town Names appear towards the top of the list in alphabetical order,
they are :

= Golden Horseshoe
= La belle province
= Malamute Madness
= Maritimer Bys
= O Canada
= Rocky Mountain Plains
